CITY-RUN ELECTIONS?
Even though the new HBCC majority ran on "No Changes to the City Charter", they now have a growing list of changes they want to make.
Setting up special "local controls" for elections in HB is one of them -- a very bad idea with dangerous consequences. Did anyone think this through?

Risner’s background made it clear that he is unfit to serve as Chief Assistant City Attorney. Luckily, City Attorney Gates pulled his approval at the last minute.
The beaches were never closed this much for the Airshow before! One mile long! But apparently that’s part of the new, SECRET Airshow Settlement .
Oh, yeah — one more issue about the Airshow. It doesn’t just cost the city millions of $, and deny residents access to the beach, it also means that residents must avoid calling 9-1-1, because our police and firefighters are too busy to answer.
